As a French-Chinese architect, graduated from the French National Architecture School of Paris-Malaquais, I thrive both as an interior architect, a guest lecturer at Chinese university, and a writer.
My personal unique journey has allowed me to explore the world of architecture and design in diverse ways. Being of Franco-Chinese origin, I am fluent in Chinese, French, and English. Over nearly two decades of my career, I have had the privilege to collaborate with renowned French architects within large international firms, working together with these master architects closely since the concept design phase. My passion ang my curiosity have taken me from China to France, a transition that has significantly enriched my approach and perspective.
Graduating from Sichuan University in China, my initial training allowed me to demonstrate my skills from 2004 to 2011 at Architecture Studio in Shanghai, progressing to become a project manager and overseeing significant projects such as the Chongqing Museum of Science and Technology and the Jinqiao apartment services in Shanghai, among others.
I regard public architecture as an in-situ art influenced by essential elements such as time, light, space, and human well-being. For me, architecture is a continuous dialogue with environmental, social, economic, and cultural contexts—a transformation of collective thoughts shaping our surroundings.
My passion for art and history has always accompanied me. From my very young age, I practiced Chinese painting and calligraphy, developing a deep artistic sensibility. My journey led me to Paris in 2011, where I finished my master’s in architecture at the National Architecture School of Paris-Malaquais, the former architecture department of the Beaux-Arts in Paris. In France, I also obtained the title HMONP of registered architect in the French order.
After obtaining my HMONP, I joined the Parisian firm Affine Design in 2014, where I shared my experience in contemporary Chinese architecture, Chinese culture, and Chinese standards on the Shenzhen Convention Center project. This period offered me the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of French luxury, working on prestigious projects such as the Crillon Hotel in Paris, the Hotel de Paris in Monaco, the Provencal Hotel in Juan-les-Pins, as well as renowned private residences, etc. The world of classical French architecture and the French living style has always fascinated me. I learned the associations of noble materials and French craftsmanship intuitively, implementing each proportion with a truly “French” meticulousness.
With nearly two decades of professional experience, I have worked across various sectors, both public and private. My architectural design integrates not only a technical approach but also subtleties derived from my two cultures. My scope includes various domains such as cultural spaces, hotels, workspaces, residential, and much more. Naturally, I founded Paris ICI Architecture Design, the evident extension of my career.
